Our approach to rehabilitation is very diverse and perhaps different to what most people have experienced when seeing a physiotherapist.

We assess in real life settings. This might be your home, at the swimming pool or on your bike. This allows us to get a real-life glimpse on what you put your body through and often allows us to spot signs and symptoms that might not have presented in a clinic environment.

Sessions are very interactive and we really do take the time the listen to you as the client as well as ensure that you understand our rationale and clinical reasoning for treatments or home exercises prescribed.

We do not follow a rigid structure, assessment and treatment intertwine and each client will experience this personalized approach to what we think is in their best interest. We consider our services to be a metaphorical 'tool belt' rather than a 'cookie-cutter' approach. We are excited to have a wide variety of options for treatment, but perform services deliberately and only if there is a strong rationale. Services that we might perform include (but are not limited to):

  • Specific exercise prescription to improve efficiency and prevent further complications

  • Manual therapy

  • Soft tissue mobilization

  • Sports massage

  • Acupuncture and Intra-muscular stimulation (IMS)

  • Kinesio and stability taping

  • Gait analysis and re-training

  • Postural correction facilitation

Sports rehabilitaion and training

At Tri-Physio, our focus is simple. Specifically target the goals of the client through functional tasks. This involves a thorough initial assessment as well as regular evaluation to ensure treatment is effectively targeting the issues of the client. Treatment includes a variety of approaches all performed in an appropriate and accessible setting. This might be in the client's home or at the pool/gym.

Neurological rehabilitation

At Tri-Physio, our neurological training and our approach to therapy targets meaningful aspects of life for the client. This involves working towards lots of specific short term goals, with the bigger picture targets in mind. We focus on the impairments that affect daily function, to do this we treat in the every day life environment such as the client's home.
